Pulvarium (2005/2007)
[installation] – dust, needles, labels, insect boxes
In cooperation with Michael Hoepfel
“Pulvarium” is a collection of different types of dust. Transfixed like insects, miscellaneous finds of fluff are presented in 40 insect boxes. An extensive framework, comparable to Linné´s taxonomy, is used as identification key to classify every single appearance of dust. According to this system every specimen is individually labelled and can therefore be identified regarding its species and category. |
