Archive Material (2003)

“Archive Material” stands for a series of recut found footage material that originally comes from the archives of soul research facilities. The films document the research work and activities on-site. Traces within the films suggest that the celluloid material must have been exposed to something that excited a modification of its chemical structure.
In this respect the films reproduce the soul experiments on two different levels. Both are written into the physical material of the films. |
